I have been looking to expand my computing services at home.  This means better monitors and more docking stations.  Last year I took the whole family mobile by getting laptops.  We don’t have workstations anymore.  Everyone to this point has just been using the LCD on the laptop.  I got this great idea to put docking stations around the house where there were workstations so we can all park and actually get a keyboard and monitor.

I bought three docking stations on e-bay.  Each of these stations were listed as ‘new!’  When I opened the box for one docking station I found this.

I am pretty sure I will not hear another thing from them.  It’s too bad really; the other two items I purchased turned out just fine.

Now this isn’t a new cable.  Not only isn’t it new but it is marked ‘BAD.’

So I took these photos and fired them off to the company who sold me this docking station with a note saying this was not a new cable.  This is the reply from the seller.

Hi,
That shouldn’t be the case. the cradles are new, however, we received
the AC’s in a box.
It could very well be that it has been marked
wrong.
